Dawn arrived
The door slammed
And I saw your face
You gripped me tightly
And didn't let go
My tail swivelled slowly
Then, you left
A feeling came over me
"Mow Meow!" I screeched
"Bye!" you called
I waited until dusk
But you didn't come
I waited 'til dark
And you still hadn't arrived
I slept for ages
Trying to forget the time
Suddenly, a ghostly figure appeared
It held me tightly
And kissed my fur
I knew it was you
Your firm grip held me
And I could never forget
