Are you Looking Forward to School?

My opinion on NOT looking forward to school: Tomorrow, I face my horror, and that is (sob) school! Oh, I have forgotten every bit of my school work, but now it's time to face it! Blogging has been the best experience ever! At an estimate, I might post three times a week - that's what I would normally do. All of these back to school commercials make me want to cry, but apart from that, being with my friends will cheer me up. Parents may be jumping with glee and the people of the world may be joining them, but they might have forgotten that they have work themselves - only 20% of people in my country like the work they're in, 80% actually hate there jobs! I hope I'll have time to keep on blogging. School may push it aside *JOKES* - I will never stop blogging! Remember students, sleep in, even if your parents push you to wake up.

My opinion on looking forward to school:
Tomorrow is the day! WOOOHOO! Isn't it exciting! You get to wear your brand new shoes and nicely ironed uniform (sighs dreamily) I will never get sick of it. Wake up at 6:00 AM tomorrow and get ready as soon as possible! The worst part of school is going home - I never want it to end!

Let me see, I can't be bothered with going for one, but I do have butterflies in my belly. I don't know what to think about my school work, I'm just looking forward to having a good ol' time with friends!

Today is Australia Day!

Today is Australia Day! That's right, I'm an Aussie gal. The 26th of January commemorates the arrival of the First Fleet, when Captain Cook discovered our land.  Summer out here has been terribly humid and today it will be 33 degrees in Sydney! That's what the prediction says. Through February the heat will keep on getting hotter and our air conditioning is constantly going. I think staying home with my family would have to be the best option.

A little history: Australia may well be the home of the worlds first people. Stone tools discovered in New South Wales, show that Aboriginals lived in Australia at least twelve thousand years before they appeared in Europe. It is supsected that there have been in excess of 18,500 generations of aboriginals!

Jelly the Stray Cat

Hi Bloggers,
Two days ago I met this cat named Jelly and I would like to tell a little story about his exciting arrival! Read it and weep.

The other day I went out to my front yard and I saw another cat! He had the deepest meow I had ever heard, his whiskers were as long as twigs and he was skinny. He had gigantic eyes with a khol outline and he was a grey tabby cat with white under his belly. I decided to call him Jelly the cat! That night, we fed him some food, but Lily was hunting Jelly down. We had to shoo Lily away from him. He stayed for two straight days with Lily and Rameses hunting him down, he kept on meowing in front of our yard and slept in his comfy bed of leaves.
The next day, I looked into the Southern Courier and looked into the missing section.

We called the owners, but it wasn't their cat after all. We decided Jelly would live with us and be our cat, but the other two territorial cats who dearly love our house, didn't like our new visitor, and sadly we haven't seen Jelly since. 

To Noisy for Food

Hello Bloggers,
The other day I was on YouTube looking at some boring, old stuff. Then, I clicked on the most funniest video ever. They're the most adorable little kitties ever! Wait, one problem. They wont shut up! So, if you hate noise, then it might be best to turn the their meows down, but you should still watch it.

Midnight Watcher

Creeping down lanes

Out comes the fangs

The birds are sleeping

Babies are weeping

Pupils go big

Treading on a twig

A nest  of birds

Mmmm....

Planning to turn then into curds

Mother is watching her eggs

But, then she sees cat legs

"SQUAWK! SQUAWK!"

She calls

The cats falls

The cat pounces on the nest

Putting the birds to there rest

The Midnight Watcher struts away

Nothing more to say

Another Star Sign?

You might have not heard, but apparently another star sign has come to town! Yep, that's right. 'Ophiuchus' is its name. I'm disappointed to say that I am no longer a Capricorn, I'm now a Sagittarius. Here are your new star signs everybody.
