Halloween!

As I walk through the forest

A cold shiver traces down my spine

I hear the trees move swiftly about me

I shudder as I hear an owl hoot

Roaring laughter passes through my ears

I suddenly see two emerald eyes appear in my sight

A black cat is approaching

I caress his fur gently

He's chubby yet very adorable

Another pair of emerald eyes appear

but they have more of an apricot shading

The black cat starts creeping along the floor

I can't quite see the figure of this kitty

But he's much thinner than the black cat

I hear shrieks and scratches until I finally break them apart

The other cat is identical

Suddenly they fade away from the fight

But the cold shiver still sits at the top of my spine

I Hate That Damn Currawong!

Hi Bloggers,
Every single day a currawong  comes and eats my cat's food! I haven't got a picture of him, but I've found one on the internet. This is what he looks like:

He lives in a towering gum tree behind my house and spies as we put out cat biscuits ... Someday, Rameses will get him and I'll take a real photo of him!

'Besties for Life' Is it a promise or a label?

Hi kitties,
Most kids or teenagers cling to there best friends and they seem to call eachother BFF's. But is it a promise or just another label. I have a lot of friends who seem to call eachother BFF's, but everyone knows that they will grow apart some day.
Everyone wants to stay with their BFF's, but school, university and even work can pull them apart. here is a special guide to keeping your BFF in three simple steps.

STEP 1 Respect your friends opinion and you will surely stay close.
If you don't respect his/her opinion, they will probably get upset with you and not talk to you for a while.

STEP 2 Stay in Contact
A lot of people aren't able to stay in touch because of family/work commitments. Once in a while you may bump into a friend a say "Maybe we should catch up for a coffee." COFFEE ISN'T THE ANSWER TO EVERYONE'S FRIENDSHIPS! Call him/her every week.

STEP 3 Do something that you both enjoy, not just what you enjoy.
Always put your friend in front of you because they may be completely different to you. Differences must be respected. It what makes us unique!
